TALLAHASSEE, June 14, 2005 -- The Nineteenth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission is now accepting applications for the position of County Court Judge in St. Lucie County. Applicants must be an elector of the State of Florida, live in St. Lucie County, and a member of The Florida Bar for the past five years.
Applications may downloaded from The Florida Bar's Website or picked up from the office of the Chair, Nita Denton, Esquire at 100 E. Ocean Blvd., Ste 400, Stuart, Florida, 34994. The applications may be obtained from Ms. Denton's office anytime between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
An original plus one copy must be delivered or mailed to the Chair, Nita Denton, and one copy delivered or mailed to each member of the JNC by July 5, 2005 at noon. A list of the commissioners and their addresses can be found at:
